Railroad work rules dispute: These 7/10/63 meetings (which include meetings with White House staffers, Labor and Management officials and then Congressional Leadership) discuss the ongoing labor situation with railroad workers. Please note that this meeting was opened in November of 1985 as part of the Railroad Works Dispute tape release. Guatemala: On 7/10/63 the new Ambassador from Guatemala to the United States, Dr. Carlos Garcia-Bauer, arrives at the White House for a brief greeting and an exchange of gifts with President Kennedy. Railroad work rules dispute meeting with Union and Management Leaders: Similar to the earlier meeting in the day, the President meets with Labor and Management officials to discuss the ongoing labor situation with railroad workers. Please note that this meeting was opened in November of 1985 as part of the Railroad Works Dispute tape release. Nuclear Test Ban Treaty Negotiations: This 7/11/63 meeting discusses a possible meeting with Khrushchev, DeGaulle and Macmillan, with the President describing Khrushchev’s personality. European Economic Community-Common Market: This 7/12/63 meeting concerns trade issues with Europe. Poultry and California wine are mentioned specifically. The quality of this meeting is poor.
