Fred Malek and President Richard NixonFred Malek's 1971 memo for Richard Nixon listing Jews in the Bureau of Labor Statistics has landed him in much controversy before, and new documents highlighted in recent days by Slate.com and the Washington Post have intensified that controversy. In this clip from the Nixon tapes, the President issues orders for Malek to "see what we can do about" Jews in the federal government.

UPDATE 6/5/2010: Malek has publicly apologized again for his role in this episode and called it the biggest mistake of his life.
