President Nixon: Mr. Pierce, I was trying to get a hold of, uh, the . . . who is the aid, the military aid. Is the naval aid on today?
Pierce: Sir, I haven't seen either one of them today.
President Nixon: Oh, that's right. I'll check [another] place.
Pierce: But I can have him try and contact you—
President Nixon: No, it—don't worry right now because I think I've got another – I think I've got another place I can call. Thank you.
Pierce: All right, sir, you're welcome.
