President Nixon: Did you have anything you wanted to go over before 3:30 [P.M.]?
Ehrlichman: No.
President Nixon: All right.
Ehrlichman: No. I'm over in [Commerce Secretary Maurice H.] Maury Stans' office.
President Nixon: Fine.
Ehrlichman: And--”
President Nixon: Fine.
Ehrlichman: --”I don't have anything today.
President Nixon: All right. Well, we've got the--”we certainly got a lot of law enforcement out today.
Ehrlichman: Sure did.
President Nixon: [Laughs.]
Ehrlichman: There can't be much [Unclear.] today.
President Nixon: [laughing] It really drove the press up the wall, they're so goddamn mad.
Ehrlichman: That's what I hear.
President Nixon: Biting their nails.
Ehrlichman: Yeah.
President Nixon: That's nice.
Ehrlichman: Yeah. Twitching their tails.
President Nixon: OK.
Ehrlichman: Right.
