White House Telephone

President Nixon: Yeah.
White House Operator: [White House aide] Mr. [Stephen B.] Bull.
Stephen B. Bull: Yes, sir.
President Nixon: Steve, I have the . . . [National Security Adviser Henry A.] Kissinger at 3:00 and [International Economic Adviser Peter G.] Peterson, and what do I have a 3:30?
Bull: 4:00 is going to be [Office of Management and Budget Deputy Director Caspar W.] Weinberger, Mr. President.
President Nixon: Good. All right.
Bull: Do you want to see them in the EOB [Executive Office Building]?
President Nixon: No, no. I'll be over there. Call Kissinger and Peterson and tell them I may be five minutes late or so. I've got to make a couple of calls here. And that we'll call them. It'll be 3:05, maybe 3:10.
Bull: All right, sir. Fine.
President Nixon: But for them to wait until they get my call.
Bull: Yes, sir. I understand.
President Nixon: OK.
Bull: All right. Thank you.
